The end of January and beginning of February have been quite busy so far! Abby's birthday is only 2 weeks away, which is crazy! Where does the time go?! She is getting so big! She's walking everywhere now. She also gives the best hugs! On cue, even (when she's in the mood, that is haha). Chris was trying to get a video of "bag lady Abby" but instead she was just wandering around and decided to give him a big hug.
We went to visit Christa, JJ, and Sydney. I put Abby in her Minnie Mouse onesie because I know how much Syd loves Minnie, and she just so happened to be wearing a Minnie Mouse sweatshirt! So they were matching, it was very cute! Syd is very excited that Abby is walking now and was great about closing the door every time JJ went in and out of the room to help make sure Abby didn't escape.

She had fun wearing Grandpa Ross's hat. She loves pulling the hat off of his head (and her own) and playing with the velcro strap.
We went to Office Max to pick up some invitations for Abby's birthday party and Abby was only happy when she was walking around the store. There's no stopping this one! Then we went to Luke's annual Scottish Burns night. Abby was a hit, she spent the whole time running around and climbing up and down the stairs at Sevie and Matt's house. She even tried the teeniest bit of haggis! She seemed to enjoy it, but we weren't about to give her seconds haha. She also went up to Auntie Erin that night and gave her a big hug on her leg out of nowhere. It truly is the best and it made her very happy. Such a sweetheart.
We went to the family center with Karen, Liam and Tristan. Abby had a good time playing with the legos that were there and this funky rocking fish. It was good to get her out of the house and distracted.
She had a good time running around Starbucks with Grandpa. She just did laps up and down the store. Her balance was slightly off from her cold, but she managed just fine! We had a few friends over for the Super bowl, and by then Abby was feeling much better! Her cough really subsided and her stuffy nose was better as well (and she was finally sleeping a bit better, too, which I was very happy about).
Then Tracey and Payton came over to hang out. Payton was wearing an outfit that Abby also has, so for the interest of some cute pictures, I ran and changed Abby into hers. They are very cute together! It's too funny, though, how different angles make such a big difference in perspective of size. In the first picture, it's pretty true to their difference in size, where in the second Pay actually looks bigger than Abby, and in the third Abby looks like a giant! Oh and Payton got a tooth!! You can't see it in the pictures, but it is there!!
She was pretty tuckered out by the end of the night and after our busy weekend. Such a little snuggler we have. She is the best :)
