On the way home from Wolfe Lake, we stopped in Rochester so that Chris could go to a Furthur show at CMAC and so that we could see Aimee and Andrew one last time before the arrival of their bundle of joy! They were nice enough to let us spend the night, the puppies and all, so that we didn't have to drive back after Chris got done at his show. Abby had fun playing with Kaiah's water dish, and with Kaiah too haha. It was great to see them and see the nursery all set up. So exciting! Abby even gave her cousin (Aimee's belly) a big kiss before we left. So sweet.

Abigail also started swinging on a big girl swing. She's actually very good at holding on! She still does well in the baby swings but loves sitting in the big kid swings, too.
She had fun storing all of her toys in the bathtub. Our little hoarder.
Payton turned 1!! We went to her wonderful birthday party. Abby gave her lots of hugs. Payton wasn't all too sure about the constant hugs, but Abby was very persistent.
Cake time!
Happy first birthday pretty lady!!
Abby and Payton had matching little lawn chairs and they sat next to each other for a nice little photo shoot. Such sweet baby girls.
Then they had some slip and slide fun!
Abby got her first Town of Amherst Recreation ID card and it is probably the best thing ever. Can't wait to show her this when she's older. You can't look at it and not laugh. Chris said "smile" and that is the face she made. Priceless.
Aimee and Andrew had their baby!!! On July 18, 2012 the beautiful Norah Elizabeth Johnson was born! And with that we became Aunts and Uncles, and Abby became a big cousin! We were lucky enough to be in the waiting room awaiting the news of her arrival and we were all so very excited for her! We love her so much already!!
We went back and saw them the next day too! She is oh cute! She was the exact same size Abby was when she was born, too. 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches! Abby was finally able to meet her baby cousin! She loves babies (unless I'm holding them (we need to work on that one...)) but she was very intrigued by Norah. It will be so much fun watching them grow up together :)
She is just too precious! We couldn't be happier for Andrew and Aimee and we can't wait to watch Norah grow up! We are very much doting Aunts and Uncles. So exciting!

We went to the Cleveland zoo while we were there. They have a great zoo there. It's HUGE! And since we have a Buffalo zoo membership so we get half off admission too, which was just an added bonus! We had perfect weather for it too. Abby had a great time walking around with Tessa and Jamie.
By the end of the day she was wiped out! This is how she ended up spending most of the time at the festival. Another great trip to Cleveland!
We went up to the park with the Schillers. Abby kept crawling into the double stroller so that she could sit with Everett.
And then she rode on the tire swing with Isabelle. She is becoming such a big girl right before our eyes!
We went out to Newfane for TJ and Joey's birthday party and Abby had a blast on their trampoline. They have a great set up for the kids with a pool and a trampoline and a lot of land, and the trampoline has a great net enclosure, so it was really safe for her to run around on. She would run when Chris said run and fall when he said fall. She had a great time! (Once again, no pictures, but it was great!)
Payton and Abby had a play date! They "play" so well together. So cute! One day they are going to conspire against us and be a tag team not to be messed with! Haha. But as for now it is just adorable!
Well that pretty much sums up our July! We also went up to Sherkston a few times, which was great. Abby loves the splash pad and the beach. She has really grown to like playing in the sand, too, which is great. She is starting to talk more. Most of what she says is still pretty incomprehensible, but she continues to add more and more actual words to her vocabulary. Can't believe she's almost a year and a half already! Love her so much!
