September 2012: Fall is here!

September started off with lots of fun! Abby finally got to try out her new bicycle trailer and Ryan and Anna got married! Chris was in the wedding so Abby and I biked all around while he did his groomsman duties. Needless to say she loved it! We circled around and then got back home and I just hear "More" coming from the trailer. So we went back out again and when I got home she said the same thing. But I was spent! It is a lot harder biking pulling an extra 50 lbs behind you than you might imagine!
Isabelle and Charlie came over to check out Abby's new toy! They seemed to love it, too haha.
We took a quick trip to Cleveland for Jamie and Tessa's housewarming party and to see Steve and Amy! (Again, this trip I was a terrible picture taker) It was short, but sweet, and it was great seeing everyone, as always!
Erin and Joe were nice enough to watch Murf and Dex for us while we were away! We stopped by and visited with Joe for a bit when we went to pick them up and waited for Auntie E to get out of work so we got to see her too.

We really took advantage of the nice fall weather and went for many bike rides. Most of them ended like this. Sleepy girl haha.
Rachel came by to visit and Abby had fun putting on her shoes. Getting ready for a run! Gotta start em young, right?
We went to Great Grandma and Grandpas for the last swim of the season. Abby made funny faces before we went. She really had a ball in the water! I might have to sign up for swim classes after all during the winter because she is a little water bug. It was crazy to see the difference even in the last few months and to see how much taller she was based on her standing on their bottom step.
After all of her swimming, she was tuckered out. She was so sleepy that she fell asleep on the floor of our living room in between the floor and the coffee table haha.
Abby found the signing birthday card that my brother, Uncle Dan, bought me and had a lot of fun dancing to it during breakfast. It was hard to keep her focused once she found it haha. She is so silly.
Then this happened. Chris was like "looks like I have to buy a shotgun earlier than I thought..." Haha Abby and Charlie LOOOOOVE each other. How cute are they?!?!
Isabelle and Charlie then came over to play with their friend. They found my sucker stash so they all sat on the couch eating suckers. Too stinkin cute.
Abby learned how to work our garbage can. She is a little smarty pants. She even uses it appropriately without us even asking! For instance, if she's eating a string cheese and the wrapper is on the table, she will walk away and bring it into the kitchen and throw it away. We do have to be careful, though, because she will throw things away once she looses interest, as well, even if they're not finished yet. But she is a quick learner!
I started putting her little flower girl dress on her early for Auntie Erin and Uncle Joe's wedding because at first she was none to happy in it. It was easy to distract her with her baby doll stroller, but once she remembered she was in it, it was back to pulling at it and crying. Not a good sign! But we kept at it!
We hung out with Eli. He loves to jump in his bouncer, so Abby wanted to jump with him. My daughter the spaz and little Eli the gentle. Too funny.
We also got to hang out with Everett. We went for a nice walk and even went to the park. What a cutie!
Then it was time for the big day! First we had Erin and Joe's rehearsal. Abby got all dressed up
Uncle Joe showed her around.
And she made a new best friend! Janelle, the junior Bridesmaid, who was also actually our flower girl, was so sweet with Abby! They live in Arizona, so we don't get to see them very much, but Abby took right to her, which was perfect because the plan was to have Janelle walk down the aisle with Abby.
I thought Abby would have been all tucked out from the day, but she came home ready to play! But we got to bed as quickly as we could cause we had a long day ahead of us the next day!
The big day had arrived! And Abby was a champ! She saw all of the bridesmaids and the bride herself in their pretty dresses and put her dress on without any fuss! And she even wore the beautiful headband Auntie Erin bought her! Boy did she look beautiful!
She even got to ride to the ceremony in the trolley with all of the ladies and Grandma and FarFar!
She did wonderfully during the ceremony! (We didn't get any pictures ourselves of it since we were both in the wedding :)) She walked down the aisle with the junior bridesmaid all by herself and when Janelle started dropping flower petals to help her, she stopped and walked backwards to pick them up. So silly!
She took a nice (much needed) nap between the ceremony and reception, and then was back up and in full force for the party! The Science museum was the perfect location for such a curious little girl! She loved walking around and looking at all of the animals and probably went up and down the main stairs 1000 times! The wedding was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't be happier for Erin and Joe! Such a perfect evening!
We took a trip to Friday's to visit Uncle Dan, but Abby was much more interested in going out and sitting in each of the fun little shopping cart cars.
She had more fun with Eli! She loves giving him hugs and always tries to feed him her bottle. A good little helper!
I took a quick trip to DSW and Abby had fun trying on shoes. She always goes for the glitzy high heeled ones. Hopefully that changes with time haha.
We finally got to meet Janet! My cousin Tarah came to town with her daughter, who is almost 11 months already, and we got to meet her for the first time. She and Abby had a lot of fun wandering around and playing with blocks together. And Abby had a blast running around with TJ and Joey. They even had a big sword fight.

She had a lot of fun knocking down block towers with Aunt Barb and kept trying to steal and wear her glasses.
So much fun playing!
September was a great month and we can't believe it's over already!! We are very excited for Fall, though, and everything it brings with it! The changing of the leaves, pumpkins, Halloween, and all sorts of other fun activities!
