May came and with it brought more nice weather and adventures! Abby just loves riding on her scooter and her tricycle! She will go to the garage and one by one take out each of her little riding toys and scoot up and down the street!
Chris and I put the wall decals up in her room! Her room is finally finished, now the trick is just trying to get her to sleep in it...
I found this great play place for FREE over by where I nanny and called Chris up to come grab it immediately before it was gone. A great addition to our backyard!
Sleepy girl loves her puppies! Even while sleeping, her and Dexter are inseparable haha.
So the best way to get Abby to sleep in her bed is when she falls asleep on the couch like above and you transfer her already sleeping to her bed. Even when you put her in all tucked with her head on her pillow, this is how she ends up. The girl is restless! She spins all around while she sleeps. And Murf always keeps her company when she's in there. Sweet puppies.
Auntie Tracey had her baby! A beautiful baby boy, Jacob Richard! He looks just like his big sister :) Love him already!! So sweet. So happy for Tracey, Adam and Payton on their addition to their beautiful family!
Here is a taste of my crazy little girl in her element. She pulled a chair over by the couch and was diving from the chair to the couch. And what fun would it be without making noise? (Warning: She has a good set of lungs on her!)
More playtime with her besties next door. Abby and Charlie were sharing a chair. And their snacks. Ev wanted in too, but he had to just watch.
One of Abby's favorite things EVER is using her own little cart at the supermarket. Anytime we say we're going shopping she gets super excited and says "Little cart??" Gotta keep a close watch on her though, or else we'd end up with a lot of random purchases...
We went to lunch with Karen and there was a playground there with a climbing wall. Abby climbed up all on her own like a champ! What a big girl!
We went to the zoo again, with Auntie E! She even got to ride the horsies with her, and sit on the tractor. The cows put on quite a show for Abby, too! Mooing up a storm! So loud!
Oh, and bubbles. Love love love bubbles. Can't get enough! What little kid doesn't, though? Hours of entertainment!
All of this fun wears a girl out (and her Daddy, too, apparently haha). She took a nice nap snuggling with my belly/her future baby brother or sister. So so sweet.
We went to one of the local parks on my day off with Auntie Christa, Sydney, JJ, and several of their friends. It was over 80 degrees and sunny and thy there is a great creek right behind the playground, so needless to say Abby had a wonderful time. We were there for over 4 hours!
Abby spent probably a half hour just sitting in the water by the shore playing with and tossing rocks. Happy as a clam.
Later that day, Sydney came to play too, what a great day for baby girl! We even walked to the store and bought them popsicles! Can't wait for more days just like this!
It was a fun and busy month. So nice to be back outside on an (almost) daily basis, when weather permits. Abigail is getting so big and is talking more and more with each passing month. And the things this silly little girl says, they just crack you up! And she got to meet baby Jacob, and is so good and sweet with him. She's going to be a great big sister :)
