August was another fun, hot month! It was my last month nannying. Abby found a little golf toy while I was working one day and made daddy proud working on her swing.
Summertime always means longer hours and therefore longer periods of
time away from her, which she didn't like very much so I told her that
very soon I would have no more work and would be able to be home with
her all the time since once the baby arrives I will not go back to
nannying. Every day she would say "No more work?" and I would just have
to keep telling her soon. Time is a hard concept for her to grasp still.
Abby had a blast "riding" Papa's exercise bike. Probably my favorite video ever. She is such a riot.
Chris' cousin Amanda asked if she could use us to help build her photography portfolio by taking family maternity photos, and of course we jumped at the opportunity! They turned out great, we were so grateful that she did such a wonderful job!
Giving Daddy some lovin' at the park after our photo shoot. So sweet!
Auntie Christa and I got to take some more fun maternity pictures :) Getting so close to meeting both of these babies! Yay!
Isabelle came and knocked on our door one day and asked Abby if she wanted to try riding her old bike that she was too big for, and Abby jumped at the opportunity! She was so sweet with her and helped show her how to ride it and Abby got the hang of it in no time! Never thought my 2 1/2 year old would be riding a bike (with training wheels, of course) all over the place, around the block, to the park, etc. She really is something else!
Long summer days make for crashing hard at the end of the day. Here she is sleeping on (or with depending on how you look at it haha) Dexter.
Riding on Papa's motorcycle (while parked in the driveway).
Helmet and all! Our little speedster!
Who knew you could wear a watch like that! So inventive haha

She had such a great time that she stayed asleep even after they took her out of the car, while still in the car seat, and put her in the house haha.
We got an exciting surprise the day after our Anniversary! No, Abby didn't become a big sister quite yet, but Auntie Christa had her baby! George Corwin Stepien was born 8/16/13 weighing 5 lbs 1 oz. So cute and so tiny!
We couldn't wait to meet him! Here is Chris's hand next to George head to show you just how teenie he was!!
Love!
Abby had never seen a baby this tiny up close! She couldn't wait to hold him!
"Cousins" :)
Kisses for George.
Finally getting to hold him!
So we had Belly & Belly pictures, and I'm sure we will have thousands of Baby & Baby pictures, but now we have Baby & Belly pictures :)
Your friend will be here soon enough, baby George!
Abby got some good big sister practice getting to hold baby Jacob, too! As soon as she would see him she would go cover him in kisses and say "Please me hold him." Can't wait to see how she does with her very own baby brother or sister!

The end of August of course also means baby #2 is just around the corner! And no more work for mommy!! Next month is sure to be a busy one :)
