Abby and I went on many many walks both with the puppies and to go to the park. She tried to take her little backpack with her everywhere! She has a new found obsession with going to school, even though she won't be going for several years, she started telling everyone "When I get bigger, I'm going to go on the school bus!" That big yellow school bus has her very excited haha.
We took our monthly Abby & Mommy belly shot, and Abby decided to help decorate the chalkboard and add her touch to it!
We went to two 2 year old birthday parties in one day! First we got to go to Rollie Pollie's for Kaylie's birthday party. Abby was in heaven! It is a little gymnastics gym where she could climb and run and jump and even do a zipline! We took several videos of all of the fun she was having. It was great, Abby had a wonderful time, so glad she got to share in Kaylie's birthday celebration!
We went to Uncle Joe's birthday party and after running around like a crazy woman all night, Abby was tuckered out. It usually takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people or big crowds of people, but once she does, there's no stopping her! There was a crazy storm that night so we ended up staying an extra hour or so to wait for the rain to die down since it was really down pouring, and she just was too sleepy to wait!
Norah turned one this month, too! Lots of July birthdays! Abby sent her a little happy birthday song for her birthday. She sure loves her cousin!
We tried to take advantage of the local pools when we could, and Abby would insist on bringing her own bag, my bag and bag of water toys to the car, always trying to help out. We were planning on meeting Auntie Christa, JJ, and Sydney at the pool but Auntie Christa ended up having to go to the Doctor's (Everything ended up being just fine!) so I offered to take them all to the pool so the kiddos could still go and have fun. And boy was that a sight, I'm sure, to anyone who didn't know all of the kids weren't mine since we all look enough alike that it could have been a very pregnant me with a 6, 4, and 2 year old in tow! It was great though and they all had a blast!
She has become very big into books, which has been great! I was reading her (and the baby) a story and she kept kissing and hugging my belly, showing so much love for her future brother or sister already!
We also took several trips to the zoo. Abby really likes climbing on the big wagon they have by the farm inside the zoo. And riding on the train and the carousel. And playing on the playgrounds in Delaware park. (Well and all of the animals we get to see at the zoo, too, of course!) Always makes for a fun way to spend the day!
Another fun, busy month for baby girl!
